It's Mewtwo!

I'm back.
And I've brought with me one of my favorite creations.

It's no 3D model or digital creation. This time it's real, a life-size wooden replica of Mewtwo's head, something you can actually hold in your hand. Though you might want to watch out, this thing weighs over 12 pounds.

This model is handmade from sheets of plywood. The only tools I used were a jigsaw and a drill with a sanding disk. Of course I didn't get it quite right at first and had to smooth it out with a bunch of water putty. Eventually I'll get around to finishing this, maybe even give it a few coats of paint so it looks more like Mewtwo.

This is actually what I used as a mold to make my failed Mewtwo masks. If you're wondering why it looks shiny, it's covered in packing tape to keep the latex from sticking to it.

Once I paint it, I can post a finished picture.
